Refund Policy
DesignSmith subscriptions are sold and billed through Paddle, which acts as the authorized reseller or merchant of record where applicable. Paddle processes cancellations, withdrawals, and refunds under its Buyer Terms, Refund Policy, and applicable consumer law.
1. General rule
Except where required by applicable law, required by Paddle's policies, or approved because of a material defect or failure to provide the service, DesignSmith subscription transactions are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. We do not provide a separate unconditional money-back guarantee.
Nothing in this Policy limits mandatory consumer rights. If our Policy, Paddle's current policy, or applicable law gives you different levels of protection, the protection that must legally apply will control.
2. Statutory withdrawal rights
Some consumers have a statutory right to withdraw from certain digital service transactions. Under Paddle's current global policy, eligible consumers may have a 14-day withdrawal period for a one-off purchase or the first payment under a subscription. When a subscription includes a free trial, a new 14-day period may begin when the trial ends. Additional or different rights may apply in some locations, including eligible annual renewals in the United Kingdom and a 5-day cancellation right for certain consumers in Singapore.
These rights may not apply, or may end, when digital service performance has begun with your consent, and eligibility is determined by Paddle and applicable law. Consult Paddle's current Refund Policy for the controlling details at the time of your transaction.
3. Canceling a subscription
You can cancel a subscription at any time through the Paddle customer portal, the management link in your Paddle receipt or confirmation email, or Paddle buyer support. Unless Paddle or applicable law says otherwise:
- cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period;
- you retain access while the subscription remains active or trialing;
- you will not be charged for the next billing period after cancellation takes effect;
- canceling does not automatically refund charges already paid.
For a free trial, cancel before the displayed trial end time if you do not want the first paid charge.
4. Technical defects or failure to deliver
If a material technical problem prevents or unreasonably delays access to paid DesignSmith features, contact us promptly with the account email, transaction details, time of the problem, and relevant screenshots or error information. We will investigate and may restore access, correct the problem, extend service, or ask Paddle to issue a full or partial refund where appropriate.
Refunds may also be provided when required for a product that is materially not as described, defective, or not fit for its legally required purpose.
5. How to request a refund
Refund requests must be submitted to Paddle rather than paid directly by DesignSmith. Use one of these routes:
- open the "View receipt" or "Manage subscription" link in your Paddle confirmation email;
- use the support or refund option in the Paddle-hosted customer portal; or
- visit paddle.net and choose the refund or order-support option.
You may also email shuitunsiyangyuan@anyaya.cn for product-support context. We can help investigate the service, but Paddle makes and processes the payment-side refund decision. Provide only the transaction identifier or receipt information needed to locate the purchase; never email full payment-card details.
6. Processing and refund abuse
If approved, Paddle normally returns funds to the original payment method where possible. Bank, card, PayPal, currency-conversion, and regional processing times may vary. Paddle may approve a full refund, a partial refund, or decline a request based on the transaction, usage, reason, fraud signals, and applicable law.
Refunds may be declined where there is evidence of fraud, chargeback abuse, repeated refund abuse, or manipulation. Raising a fraudulent or abusive dispute may result in suspension while the matter is investigated. This does not affect legitimate chargeback or consumer rights.
7. Policy changes
We may update this Policy to reflect changes to DesignSmith, Paddle's policies, or applicable law. The version applicable to a transaction is subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms and Refund Policy in effect for that transaction, together with any non-waivable legal rights.
